Hi everyone! My name is Ani, I was born in New York but I lived my whole life in Paris. Now I go to New York University and Ifm spending my summer in Tokyo. I study film and photography because later I want to be a director of photography in the movies. I love traveling, dancing, swimming, and shopping.
Right now I am living in a guesthouse with my friend Anne. We are excited to be living in Japan and want to discover as many new things as possible during our stay! I like going to parties and concerts. I am working as a freelance journalist during my time in Tokyo covering music festivals and club events, so I would love to hear what you have to say about Tokyo music scene! Ifve had a great time in Tokyo so far: going to the fish market, Harajuku, Ginza, onsenc
This year I lived in Florence Italy because my university had no more room for me in the U.S. By coincidence I already knew Italian because I had taken it all through high school. I lived with 130 other international students, it was great getting to know people who had lived all over the world. I also made a lot of Japanese friends who I can now see in their home country! While I lived in Italy I worked with a lot of associations that organized foreign film festivals. I was involved in Indian, Korean, and Spanish film festivals so I got to see lots and lots of movies.
Watching the World Cup was a lot of fun because I managed to find a sports bar with a lot of French expats. I watched all the games at home in Paris with my friends so it was a change to watch one in a bar packed full of strangers. It was exciting to root for your home team when youfre a million miles away from home! But unfortunately we lostc However since I studied last year in Florence and speak Italian I didnft feel completely disappointed. If you feel like practicing your French or your Italian at Leafcup we can have a chat! Hope to see you soon
