Hello !! My name is Anne, I come from France (Paris) B I am so excited to discover
Tokyo , even if I am only here for one month. I am willing to see it all ! I love traveling abroad, I have done quiet a lot of miles with my friend Ani. I am planning to bring back home great pictures, maybe even a short movie A Tokyo is so inspiring when itfs your first time there !!
Let's talk about what I am doing in my home town : I am studying History and English Literature in the Sorbonne university where I am having a great time. I am in several music bands : playing the oboe in a student orchestra which is thrilling and singing for a rock band called Les Agrumes. I love going to concerts and partying with friends inc I also like to throw dinner parties with friends, I enjoy cooking delicious meals for exciting people!
One of my favorite experiences since Ifve been here has been going to the fish market. I got there too late to actually see the fish vendors but I still wanted to taste some of the products sold on the market. I picked the sushi stall that had the longest line. I made friends with a Japanese man who told me that this was the best sushi bar of the market which explains the 1 hour long wait! He goes there once a month himself because itfs so good. The wait was worth it: sitting at the counter, I was handed the sushi directly by the chef. I decided to take the omakase so I had a surprise selection. It turned out to be a good choice because I got to taste for the first time sea urchin and abalone, which I found delicious. The sushi in Paris doesnft even compare!
I canft wait to give conversation lessons. However Ifve never taught adults. Ifve done a lot of babysitting and two summers ago I went to Togo, West Africa to teach French to elementary school children. I loved discovering African culture, everyone was so friendly therec I taught 3 rd and 4 th grade, but since my students only spoke an African dialect, mina, we mostly communicated by sign language! We basically played games all day. They were so excited to learn new things: poems, games, mathc It was so sad leaving them. If you are interested in Africa, we can talk, I canft wait to go back!
I am very eager to meet you all at Leafcup cafe. We` ll talk and talk and talk ! Not about the World cup if possible itfs a painful issue
