Hi Everyone!
My name is Jason, and Ifm also from the beautiful
state of Oregon. So, naturally, I love going
outdoors, eating great food and meeting new people! Riding motorcycles in large, open roads is also a pleasure for me. So if you know some big roads in Japan, please tell me!
I grew up on the west coast of America, but I
went to University on the east coast. So Ifve traveled up and down both coasts, if you have questions about where to visit in America, please ask! In Washington
D.C., I studied Visual Communications. Visual Communications is the study of visual media, like poster designs and TV commercials. So, in
my free time, I help independent directors edit their
short films, movies or documentaries.
While in University, I also studied abroad in Hong Kong,
China. I studied Chinese and started teaching English at
a local private school. Tokyo reminds me a lot of Hong Kong
because the people are similar in personality: polite, sensible
and easy-going. If youfre going to Hong Kong, I recommend visiting Lam Kwai Fong at night. Many English speakers go there and itfs easy to meet many interesting people. After graduation I worked for a cable roadcasting
company in Portland for several years before deciding I wanted to live abroad again. I have met many Japanese people in my travels, and all of them have been very nice, friendly people. Naturally, I became very interested in Japanese culture. So, I moved to Japan and have been teaching
English for the last two years in Kanagawa. Ifve just moved into Tokyo and hope to meet lots of
wonderful Tokyoites, home-grown and from abroad. So donft be shy, come on in and letfs share stories!
