Hi all. At the time of writing this I've lived in Tokyo a few times, but only for a total of around 3 months - so everything is still new and exciting!
Back home I live in West London, near a silly place called Kempton Park. I have lots of hobbies and like to keep myself busy. Apart from those mentioned above, I like to travel the world, read books, watch horror movies, practice web-design, talk to people, stroke cats and listen to the music known as Jazz. I also used to Skydive, until I had a near death experience that mentally scarred me for life.
I have worked in I.T. (Computers) most of my life - but I now find it terribly dull.
What do I do in Japan?
Apart from working at Leafcup, I study Japanese at a school every weekday. I also wander around Tokyo, photographing things, often getting lost and/or confused, occasionally stopping to stroke cats. I recently discovered Karaoke here, for the first time, and didn't realise sitting in a small flashing box, screaming into a microphone for 2 hours straight could be so much fun! Tokyo is beginning to make a weird kind of sense.
I'd like to make Tokyo my second home one day. I suppose this is another one of my dreams. Why? Because Tokyo is so clean (relatively speaking), organised and convenient. I love sushi, vending machines, tall buildings, free tissues, neon lights and small robots. And everyone is so incredibly
polite! Unlike back home in the UK, where people are generally evil.
Come talk to me. Let's find out what makes us tick. Tell me of your Tokyo existence. Let's bond like only a Chat Host and Customer can. Let's discuss life, the universe and everything - Or if that's too deep we can just talk about cats.
