HI’m a globe trekker, budding yogini, perennial student, and organic vegetarian cuisine connoisseur. I’ve traveled, lived, and/or studied in over 14 countries. I love university life, and I hold bachelor’s degrees in English and Psychology and master’s degrees in Communication Arts and Guidance Counseling from universities in Maryland and Florida. I’ve studied abroad in Germany, France, England, and Spain. I love sightseeing, trekking, canyoning, white water rafting, rock climbing, skydiving, paragliding, hiking, and basically anything I haven’t tried before. I’m originally from California, but I call Pensacola, Florida my hometown. Before I became a teacher and counselor, I worked in the US Air Force as a computer systems administrator and training manager while stationed in Ramstein AB, Germany. I have over 10 years of teaching experience, but I’ve been teaching English in high schools and colleges for the past 5 years.

At present, I’m an Eigo sensei at a medical college in Tokyo. In my free time, I love to meet new people, travel around Nihon, practice yoga, meditation, and Nihongo, and go on outdoor adventure trips.
