Danish girl, lived abroad since I was a child, in Greenland, Nepal and
Bangladesh, with my family. I have since then travelled extensively on my own,
both in Europe and Asia.
I have developed a great love for big cities, where evrything is possible and within reach. London, Rome and now Tokyo, is my top 3 list. These 3 capitals ouze of history, yet they embrace the new and inovative. I never tire or get bored of these cities.
This is my third time to Japan, but my first time living here. I began training karate at the age of 6, and as a natural extension of that, came a profound interest in Japan and Japanese culture. The first time I came to Japan, I was only in Tokyo, but nevertheless decided from the first day, that I had to come back. The second time, I staid longer, and travelled for a few weeks, as well as being in Tokyo. The experiences I had in Japan, led me to come and live here for at least a few years.
I have now been here for some time, and I am starting to settle in, and getting a daily routine with work, training and friends. I work as an English teacher, and train karate every day.
Although karate takes up the majority of my free time, I have many other interests as well:? I love to read, especially Shakespeare and the Greek classics, like The Odysse and The Illiad.
I also enjoy watercolour painting, even though I am pretty bad at it. In my case, I think it is more about getting the emotions out on the canvas, than actually getting a picture out of it...
I really enjoy going to museums, walking in the beautifull parks of Tokyo, singing and going dancing of course. I am a big fan of travelling, and meeting new people, learning new things..
