| Hello. My name is Matthew and I’m from Hokkaido, the most beautiful part of Japan. I was brought up bilingual by my Japanese mother and Canadian father. However, since I grew up in Japan ? went to an ordinary Japanese elementary school and an ordinary Japanese junior high school, I act like a Japanese and I think like a Japanese. I eat natto for breakfast and I think 焼き鳥 and 枝豆 are the best for drinking beer. I also love 芋焼酎 . After graduating from an international school in Sapporo, I went to Toronto, Canada, to attend university. The four years I spent in Toronto were amazing ? too amazing to even begin to describe in this small self introduction. During my university years, I also spent some time in Mexico where I went to a language school and in Spain where I took a few courses at the University of Salamanca. Asi que hablo un poco de espanol. I came back to Japan in the summer of 2006 and since then, have been working for a Japanese manufacturing company in Tokyo doing international sales and marketing. I come to Leafcup on weekends. I love soccer and snowboarding. I love the Beatles and 中島みゆき . I love meeting new people and conversing. See you at Leafcup!
