My name is Johar, but friends call me Joe Mighty and i'm happy that if anybody can call me Joe.
I am originally from Southern Asia's tropical Island Sri lanka, but i was grow up in new zealand and mostly i spend my times in Australia.
Well, small world where-ever we come from, any how we are this part of the world.
My major is sales and marketing management, which i was educated in Colombo and Auckland. This is my second time in Japan and i'm married to the Japanese national, no kids yet. But, i still looks like a single man.
Also, i came from multi-cultural background in Sri lanka and mother was related to dutch haritage, my father's background from malaysia, everything happened passed. but, myself became a mixed fruit.
Any how that i would like say little bit about sri lanka and my Island's history .......
The Portugese conquered the coastal areas in the early 16th cent. and introduced the roman catholic religion. By the mid 17th cent. the dutch had taken over the protuguese possession and the rich spice trade; In 1795 the Dutch possessions were occupied by British, who made the Island a crown colony in 1798. In 1815 the Island was brough under one rule for the first time, when the central area, previously under the rule of kandy( former capital), was conquered. Under the british, tea, coffee, and rubber plantation were developed, and school, including a university, were opened.
A moment for independence arose during world war I . the constitution of
1931 granted universal sufferage to the inhabitants; demands for independence continued. The fully independence was finally granted to the Island of "Ceylon" on feb 4th 1948, with the respectfully became a Sri lanka.I think, this all about me and really preffer travelling and doing some sports during my free times., any how that i was knew about the Japan not today and it was few years ago, when i lived in New zealand and Australia.
I would like to say one thing about Japanese People, there are very kind hearted and honest People in the world according to the my experience.
I did help previously to the Japanese students, when i was in New zealand and i made huge friends from there, now it's useful to me in Japan. Today i am not lonely in Japan and i have many friends around my area, which i live in Kanagawa. Also, i have few years experience teaching language and conversation.
Finally, i would like to say that learning languages and it is a biggest reward for the life. Well, do not miss the oppotunity and time is wealth. So, do try english conversation with Joe.
