Hi! My namefs Nick, I come from a small town in England not far from Londonc so letfs just say London to keep things simple! I like doing lots of thingsc.salsa-dancing, karaoke, soccer, yoga, writing but Ifm really into aikido right now which is the main reason Ifve come back to Tokyo. Itfs such an inspirational martial art ? Ifm addicted! And of course, the best teachers are here in its spiritual home. Teaching English is cool too and a great way to experience a new culture. You get to meet a lot of interesting people, learn new things and have fun at the same time. Ifm staying in Tokyo now until next year, itfs nice to settle in one place for a while so that you can really get a feel for it. So far Ifve taught in Buenos Aires, Sydney and now Tokyo. All three are great cities in their own way ? Ifve learnt a lot in each one.

Before traveling I worked in investment banking in London but I gave that up to go and see what else was happening. I just didnft like the idea of retiring when Ifm 65, worn out, old and knackered. What use is free time then? Thatfs when I want to be dragging my arse into work, drinking coffee all day hunched over a PC, not now! That decision has been the best Ifve ever made. Life feels good right now, especially at Leafcup, which is the finest language school Ifve ever worked at c. ;-) No, really, itfs a pretty cool placec.come to one of the parties and find out for yourself!
