I’m Nicola and I recently moved to Tokyo from Sydney, Australia.? Since I’ve moved to Tokyo many people ask me why I chose Japan as the country for me to work and travel. I have always dreamed of coming to Japan and after recently graduating from University, it has been my first opportunity to leave my comfort zone in Sydney and explore the world of Tokyo for 6 months.? My love for the Japanese language began when I had my first lesson in highschool and since then I have become more and more interested in Japan’s culture, people, language and history.

I love living in Tokyo as there is so much to do and I have met so many lovely people. When I’m not working at Leafcup you will find me on the tennis court coaching many children in Tokyo which I very much enjoy. I consider myself very lucky in that my jobs here are also my interests ? I have played tennis in Sydney since I was very young and I also enjoy meeting new people here at Leafcup and learning about their life and culture.
