Hello my friends!
This is Ricardo, a nikkey from Sao Paulo, Brazil. ILve been in Japan since 1991 and I had been living in Shizuoka and Aichi prefectures until I decided to come to this incredible city called Tokyo to work with teaching, writting and photography.
After being in this great country for so long I definately have Japan as my second home and I think ILll never know everything about its places and people, because Japanese culture and history are so rich. Tokyo alone has soo much to offer; it is really a voyeurLs paradise and I think people who work with creativity, like writers, painters, musicians, photographers and others, must come and spend some time here at least once in their lives.
As a photographer I work with traditional brack & white and my subjects are mostly people - portraits, editorials, documentaries, etc, as I find people and the way they live to be the most interesting thing in this world and in this context I am also interested in economy, sociology and geopolitics. If you want to drop by my web page to see some of my work you will be more than welcome: www.photo.net/photos/ricardoyamamoto
My interests have also taken me to travel to Bali in Indonesia, Paris and Florence, Rome and Pisa in Italy and when I am not working or developing photographs at home I spend my time reading, watching movies (when I like a movie in particular I watch it over and over), playing the acoustic guitar, looking at paintings, drawing or calling my family by telephone. But I also look forward for the day when I can spend a month playing Play Station everyday without thinking about responsabilities - that would be a true privilege.
For me English has proven to be an essential language and for each new language we learn that we can discover a new world. Combined with Japanese and Portuguese, the Brazilian language, it has given me a lot of confidence and freedom to go wherever I want to without assistance, allowing me to talk directly to almost anyone around the globe. Learning something new takes us time and patience, but it is an important personal improvement, and we should always keep improving ourselves in many ways. And it is a great previlege to meet different people, giving and receiving at the same time. ThatLs why I hope you come by soon!
Ola amigos, venham passar uma hora gostosa conversando em ingles ou portugues com a gente!
