Hi Everyone!
I'm Sheena and I`m from the Philippines. I miss the beautiful beaches, year-round warm weather and a lot more from back home, but I must admit that Japan is just amazing. The food is ofcourse supreme and there is always a million things to explore. I`ve been here only since October and have only gone around Tokyo, but my, was there so much to see! I loved people-watching in Harajuku, shopping in Shinjuku, food-tripping in Ameyoko, boating at Ueno Lake, gadget-gawking in Akihabara and getting lost in Ginza. In April, I`ll be?finding my way around?Osaka and Kyoto. I`m a fourth year Psychology?major at the University of the Philippines. Right now I`m here as an exchange student at Takushoku University where?I`m studying Japanese Language. To put two and two together, I plan to do some research work on Psycholinguistcs later on.?Much, much later on (after I`ve travelled more of the world, including Egypt, India, Tibet and Zaire), I am going to write a novel and win the Nobel Prize for Literature for it (hey, if you`re going to dream, then better dream big!)
Aside from travel and literature, I`m also inlove with music?(I`m stereotypically Filipino in that way) and?even used??to sing?for bands during high school and first year college.?I also?do some sketching?and have photography dreams. My real passion though,?are people, and the stories they have to tell. I think I`m a great listener because of that, but I can also be pretty talkative, especially when I`m enthusiastic about something.
Now,?if you want to appear in that novel?I?mentioned, or if you simply want someone to share dreams, songs and stories with, then please visit me at Leafcup and let`s get to know each other over a hot cup of tea.
`Can`t wait to meet you! Sheena
