genki!? genki!? Tyler Lewis is my name and I come from the other side of the pacific ocean, specifically from a town called Seattle. It's in Washington state, USA and NO, it doesn't rain ALL the time, just when it needs to happen. In Seattle I met so many friends from Japan and decided that I should spend some of life in this quirky, exciting country and so here I am just sorta bumming around doing what I can to keep on going. I absolutely love to take photos of all the interesting patterns and activities I see around me, and in Tokyo it is always easy to find wonderful scenes for my camera. I enjoy discovering new and strange music, meeting odd people, and I really love to eat zaru soba!! Speaking of Japanese food, I'm also a lover of the infamous Natto, the food that is usually chotto guroi to foreigners. But I love it!
I'm constantly writing and playing music whenever I can and I need to find some better music venues in Japan! Lately I seem to only locate screaming rock music, which isn't always bad, but I'd rather listen to something fresh and exciting! I feel like I'm using the exclamation point (!) way to much!!!
Right now I am staying with my wonderful girlfriend and her sister in Ofuna, Kanagawa. Toi desu ne?!?!? But it's alright because I have plenty of friends around Tokyo so when I do come into town it's always worth it. Come into Leafcup and we'll have a good time talking about anything that pops into our brains. I love to come up with new ideas concerning life and would be happy to have a meaningful conversation with you! I never thought that I would be working in an English Cafe in
Iidabashi, so you must come and see!! Oh do please come by! Kiyosukete !!
